A multiple sequence alignment editor

Usage:

Open the on-line help window through button 'Help' to learn seaview usage.

Color customization:

Use the resource mechanism fully explained in the on-line help to customize colors used to display DNA and protein sequences if you wish so.

Note:

On 100 dpi screens, fonts in buttons and other places will appear too big. To repair that, create a resource file called Seaview in your app-defaults directory (often /usr/lib/X11/app-defaults) and place in it these 3 lines: Seaview*buttonFontSize: 8
Seaview*menuFontSize: 8
Seaview*reducefonts: True
