This is the FASTLINK version of Lathrop and Lalouel's linkage analysis package. You are STRONGLY advised to have gone on a training course before using this package.
If your linkage job fails with a 'segmentation error' in the "unknown" program, you may be experiencing the problem discussed in the full help.
If your LINKMAP jobs are getting large, you may care to check out the program FASTMAP.
You may prefer to run large linkage jobs in 'batch' with the command:
batchjob lcp_command_file_name (e.g. batchjob pedin)
This will spread the workload out over several machines and you may get your results back quicker.
A graphical interface to Fastlink is available in GLUE.
