GLUE is a web-based interface to linkage and statistical genetics programs. It simplifies the use of commonly used programs through graphical selection of program options, automation of multiple analyses, and uploading of local files to the LITBIO file space.

The minimum data requirement is a linkage format pedigree file. Other options, including the marker information, can be selected at run time. The pedigree data can reside on the local machine and be uploaded to the LITBIO server at run time. Results are stored on the LITBIO system, initially in a temporary directory, and can be moved to a permanent location or downloaded to the local system. Packages currently supported by GLUE are Linkage, Genehunter, Merlin, Unphased, and Transmit. Here is a demonstration page showing the different options in GLUE. Further help on this option
