VNC, or Virtual Network Computing, is a system that allows you to display an X session running at LITBIO onto your desktop computer, even if your desktop computer doesn't understand X.

There are two ways of viewing the session - it can run as a Java applet in a Java compatible browser, or you can use a standalone viewer that is available for some platforms.
